In this fast pacing life, one or the other day, we get pressurized due to one or the other reasons that leads to stress. Stress can be good but its overload is a really a bad thing. Stress can be defined as an event that affects our mind or body. Sometimes we get too pressurized that stress surpasses our ability to cope with it.  Stress makes us vulnerable to many major and minor diseases.  All of us react to stress in different manner. Worry is the prime contributor to human stress. Causes of stress are many. Stress can happen due to other various reasons such as family conflicts, serious accidents, relationship stress, illness, over scheduling, violence, uncomfortable workplace, emotional outbursts, bullying, lack of sense of humor, physical changes like lack of sleep, excessive work hours, lack of sleep or excessive sleep, environmental changes like moving to new school, college or area etc. Its symptoms or signs are pain in head or neck region, nail nibbling, disturbed sleep, nervousness, anxiety or feeling of pressures, stomach problems, headaches, smoking, overeating or under eating etc. It can also cause depression.   It can lead to fear, poor concentration, and vague anxiety. A stressed person may feel suspicious of the other. He drinks and smokes more than before. It is very necessary to manage stress, have stress relief and take the step of stress reduction. Unmanaged stress can lead to problems and diseases like high blood pressure, migraine, digestive problems, insomnia, dizziness, fatigue.  Long-term stressful situations can produce a lasting stress which can create many mental and physical problems. Sometimes we have personal stress, workplace stress, chronic stress, lexiscan stress, occupational stress, teenage stress, oxidative stress, emotional stress. Whatever be the kind of stress, it is very important to get out of it. For this, stress management is very significant. It becomes necessary to understand how to manage stress. There are various stress management tips that a person must follow in order to manage stress. Some of them are: One must adopt a healthy life. Exercise daily. One can distract himself in soothing activities like watching Television, listening to music, dancing, watching a comedy. Simply relax and learn to forgive. One should always be optimistic. Attempt socializing. Avoid such people who stress you out. Accept the things you can’t change. Share your feelings. A stressed person does not eat properly, he has a poor diet, so it is very necessary to have nutritious, healthy and balanced diet. Laugh as laughter is the best medicine. It helps in lowering the blood pressure and reducing hypertension and it boosts immune system. Spend time in nature. One can also go for a walk. Get a good night’s rest. One must adopt humorous view towards life’s situations as it will greatly help in relieving stress. Overload of stress must be avoided in each and every condition to lead a healthy and happy life. So, enjoy life to its fullest and live a stress free life.
